March is the prime time of spring when peach trees bloom. International Women's Day (March 8) is a day celebrating women seeking peace, equality, and development around the world. Women have made unremitting efforts to fight for their rights over the past century. International Women's Day marks the achievements of women in history and is celebrated by women in all places of the world regardless of nation, race, language, culture, economy, or political belief. We shall always remember women's heroic struggles for equality, justice, peace, and development.

Show their best in the season of blossoms. To mark International Women's Day, Jianjing held a special celebration for the company's female employees in the International Dream Center at its Shanghai Headquarters on the afternoon of March 8. At the event, the chairman of Jianjing presented awards to the female employees who performed outstandingly in the "Women's Meritorious Service" campaign of the year, unveiled the sign of "Jianjing House for Women and Children", and called for voluntary donations for women and children refugees advocated by UNHCR.

At the event, Chairman Huang Zhiting and General Manager Xiang Bing presented the awards of "The Most Beautiful Designer of the Year" and "The Most Beautiful Cost Engineer of the Year" to Yang Jing from UCOME and Zhang Liming from Jianjing's Shanghai Office respectively for their outstanding performance in terms of professionalism, innovation ability, team spirit, and social responsibility as well as their outstanding contributions in the "Women's Meritorious Service" campaign.

At the event, Chairman Huang Zhiting and General Manager Xiang Bing unveiled the sign of "Jianjing House for Women and Children". It is an exclusive space set up by Jianjing for use by female employees and their children. "Jianjing House for Women and Children" is expected to be a platform for organizing, guiding, and serving women and children and safeguarding their legitimate rights and interests. It will actively provide female employees with services such as participation in management, policy studies, specialized learning, book reading, cultural and sports activities, and humanities salons, and strive to build a beautiful post house, continuously improve women's qualities, and enrich their career life.

In other parts of the world, many women and children are still haunted by turbulence and terror amid war. Even if some are lucky enough to take refuge in neighboring countries, it would be difficult for them to obtain timely and sustained medical assistance. In humble survival, it becomes an extravagant hope for children to have sufficient food when their parents are jobless. After losing everything in conflicts, families who fall into poverty have to reconsider how to survive, so many force girls to drop out of school and marry early. In bitter winter, a mother's greatest hope would be that the gas could burn longer. In chaotic conditions, victims of sexual violence are worried not only about how to escape violence but also about how to pay rent for safe accommodation for themselves and their children. At the event, Huang Zhiting called for all employees to actively contribute to public charity projects in Syria, Afghanistan, and Jordan, and announced the start of donation activities for UNHCR's charity projects for women and children, which are expected to reshape the fate of more refugee women and children with loving help. Jianjing has been constantly expanding its international vision and its global awareness while "making contributions to economic development and helping people live a better life." By actively responding to the national "Belt and Road Initiative", Jianjing has been continuously participating in consulting services for international engineering projects with aid and investment from China and has successfully completed various tasks in China's aid projects in foreign countries. By now, Jianjing has provided technical support for China's 121 aid projects with "Jianjing solutions for aid projects." Jianjing will continue following national strategies, plan "going global", and make the best of legacy and innovation to build Jianjing into a century-old brand.

An ikebana artist of the Sogetsu school shared stories of the school, plants' ability of perception, healing methodology, and the classic art of flower arrangement. She showed skills of the Sogetsu school and organized all female participants to design and make their works of flower arrangement. She helped them choose the most suitable main flower by trying to listen and talk with people around them, thus adding a trait of friendship to their flower arrangement works.

Chairman Huang Zhiting noted that this year marks the 20th anniversary of Jianjing, a crucial year for the company's transformation and upgrading, and the company's "year of awareness improvement, branding acceleration, management quality improvement, and efficiency improvement".
